Fiber-reinforced polymer-matrix composites (FRP) are used in several engineering disciplines, but broader application is still limited by relatively weak interlaminar properties, e.g., shear and delamination resistance in general. Attempts at improving these properties require test methods that yield reproducible results for comparative materials evaluation. However, using these test methods for determining values for composite structural design requires validating data analysis and interpretation.
