In this study, we explore the intricate interplay between the electronic properties within the solid and field emission beams characteristics. By examining the fundamental principles governing field emission, we investigate how transverse momentum impact the propagation of the emitted electron beams. We demonstrate that transverse momentum and the spatial coherence of the emission source significantly affect beam properties, leading to notable changes in interference patterns.
