A resonant kicker magnet system is being developed as part of electron beam switching system of Swiss Free Electron Laser (SwissFEL) at Paul Scherrer Institute. In order to deliver stable electron bunches to the two experimental stations, a high stability electron beam deflection system is required. The resonant kicker magnet is a key element of the deflection system and dominates the stability performance. A prototype MOSFET driver, kicker magnet and monitoring system were developed. The kicker magnet current amplitude jitter can be measured with resolution better than 3 ppm. Performance of the prototype resonant kicker and the precision measurement system are presented.
