As part of the on-going development of the NURESIM European common software platform, PSI intends to develop and qualify calculation schemes to perform calculations using APOLLO-2 version 2.7 within the NURESIM platform. In that context, PWR cell calculations have in a first step been performed on the basis of the NURESIM benchmark specifications and the results are compared to both Monte-Carlo solutions as well as against results from the widely used lattice transport code CASMO-4E.
