Spectra of rotational tunneling states of NH4+ ions in (NH4)xRb1-xBr for x = 0.02, 0.05 and 0.10 have been measured at T = 1.8 K using neutron inelastic scattering technique. Neutron measurements have also been made for (NH4)0.02(Rb0.5K0.5)0.98Br. The orientational motion of NH4+ ions in (NH4)0.02(Rb0.5K0.5)0.98 Br.is highly hindered and this suggests that the above ternary salt .could exhibit dipolar glass phase even though.NH4+ concentration is low.
