The present article illustrate the biological cycle of mistletoe (Viscum sp.) and gives information about the relatioships between host plants and birds that allow its dissemination. This information are very important for evaluate the impacts of parasite in the xilema of forestry biocenose and particulary in Swiss. The article gives also information to control forest pest.
